David was born in San Antonio, TX, but spent most of his childhood growing up in the hill country at Lakehills, TX (at Medina Lake). He graduated from Bandera High School (’79) and Texas A&M University (’83). A year prior to graduation, he obtained his insurance license and started working for his father’s insurance agency at the time. He continued working there until the agency merged with Village Insurance in ’93.

David has attained two professional designations, Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and maintains both designations each year with continuing education classes. With over 40 years of experience in the insurance business, there are very few situations he has come across where his combination of education and experience did not allow him to find an insurance solution for his clients. David can help you with personal insurance, business insurance, bonds, life insurance or health insurance.

He is a member of the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and also enjoys shooting sporting clay when time allows. He is also a volunteer for the Earthwise Living committee in Leon Valley which promotes environmental education and conservation.

David currently co-owns Village Insurance Agency and lives near Helotes, TX with his wife, Geri Ann, and their dog, Gracie.
