M.J. (Bubba) Hacker Jr. is a native born San Antonian. He is a graduate of John Marshall High School, and received his bachelors degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

After graduating college in 1982, Bubba worked as a resident claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance Group in both Austin and Waco, Texas. In 1984 Bubba decided to become an insurance agent. He joined BSM Insurance Agency and was sent to a prestigious insurance college in Hartford Connecticut called Aetna Home Office Sales Course.

Bubba joined Village Insurance Agency in 1987. He was originally a partner, but when the agency became a corporation in 1994, he was appointed Vice President by the board of directors. In the year 2000, Bubba was appointed President by the board of directors.

Bubba specializes in both personal & commercial accounts. He writes life and health insurance and enjoys making Village Insurance Agency an enjoyable place to work and do business.
